Lincoln City ladies took an important step in their battle against relegation by hammering local rivals Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 on Sunday.

Katie Holtham gave Lincoln the lead, but Laura Naylor equalised before half time for The Owls.

The second half proved more fruitful for the Lady Imps with a further goal from England Under 19 star Holtham as well as a brace from Sara Priestley. These goals beat recently departed City keeper Carla Manship in the Wednesday goal.

The victory sees City up to 6th, but still involved in a relegation dogfight.
