Lincoln City Ladies boss Glen Harris has resigned from the post.
He oversaw yesterday's 4-3 home defeat to league leaders Sunderland with assistant Rod Wilson, who will now take over.

"It's demands on me, my work and my family commitments, the girls knew I was going at the end of the season."

"I think they have become too comfortable with me and it needs a change. The time is right, not just for me, but the team."

Harris steered the side to promotion from the Unison East Midlands Premier Division into the Midland Combination League, before securing a place in the Premier League. He has seen the club enjoy a real emergence on the Womens game grooming a side littered with young talent.
