Imps Set For Sensational Sincil 6 V Shrews

Last updated : 08 February 2011 By Neil Hobbs

The Imps go into tonight’s game against 4th placed Shrewsbury Town aiming for a sensational six wins in six. The Shrews meanwhile can go third tonight if they can follow their win against Tilson’s old club Southend United with another tonight.  Yet should Lincoln win we will be just an incredible 8 points behind our opponents with 3 games still in hand. Not bad for a side rock bottom after that defeat to Wycombe on January 15th.

Recent respective form guides

Lincoln City's home form has been poor, winning just 2 of the last six, and losing the other 4, although to be fair we have been away in most of our games in the winning run.
Shrewsbury's away form is none too clever either, with two wins, two draws, and two defeats. The Shrews's have a narrow positive goal difference over these games, with 7 goals for and 6 against.

Lincoln City see themselves just below half way in the Npower League Two, showing a record of 34 points from their 26 games played so far, Shrewsbury Tn. are just outside the promotion places, in 4th, having taken 45 points from 29 games. Beat them tonight however and we will be just 8 points behind our opponents with 3 games still in hand.

Lincoln City Mad's Prediction ...

Neil  Its one nil to the mighty Imps and the best quid a kid has ever spent.

Vic Erzantarz  Another clean sheet but a long overdue draw 0-0

Ivan Impgrass Shrews are a big test and in better form than Vale so 1-2 to the Shrews
